Unveiling the Magic: An Adult Wizard Experience at The Potions Cauldron in York's Shambles

The Cauldron Experience for older wizards is available daily in the secret potions room at The Potions Cauldron. 

Lasting 50 minutes wizards will learn the secrets of The Potions Cauldron and Phileas Fry whilst making and enjoying some poisonous concoctions! 

Each wizard will enjoy 3 alcoholic* drinks.

The Potions Academy 

The Potions Academy opened officially from September 2024 and will contain to core elements including The Potions Class and The Broom School.

Wizards and Witches are invited to attend this magical academy and graduate in the art of broom flying and alchemy lead by our great masters.

The Academy is open on Friday, Saturday and Sunday and every day in school holidays.

The Broom School:

The Broom School will give witches and wizards the opportunity to fly from Goathland in the North Yorkshire Moors back to Shambles York via key landmarks including Whitby Abbey and Castle Howard where the firey dragon awaits,  with every graduate receiving a Witches Brew potion, graduate badge and souvenir video to take away.

·       Only 9.99 per person.

·       Pre-booking not needed.

·       Suitable for wizards of all ages.

Potions Class:

The Potions Class, a magical family experience will be led by the potion master who will impart the wisdom of esteemed alchemist and wizard of the highest order; Phileas Fry. As well as learning the secrets of Fry, every graduating wizard and witch will receive their very own magical potion and graduate badge.

·       This experience will last 30 minutes and is accessible only up a flight of stairs.

·       Recommended for wizards aged 5 and above.

·       From only 6.49 per person, pre booking highly recommended.
