Step into a world of magic with our magical Potions Class. This experience is suitable for witches and wizards of all ages and is led by our very own esteemed Potion Master.

Throughout your 30-minute spellbinding experience, you’ll discover the secrets behind the legendary alchemist and wizard, Phileas Fry, all while learning to craft your own potion.

With tickets starting at just £7.49 per person, including a special potion drink for you to take home, our potion making experience promises to make the perfect family day out.

Wizard Afternoon Teas at York's Potions Academy

Led by the Potions Master, witches and wizards will enjoy a delicious afternoon tea with all ingredients from Europe’s most photographed street.

What's on the menu for York's most unusual afternoon tea?

• Lesson 1 – This York afternoon tea starts with a selection of sorcery sandwiches, sausage rolls and pork pies served with a magical potion of your choice.
• Lesson 2 – Next comes a traditional Scone with Jam and Cream served with a hot accompaniment conjured by our resident witch in this quirky afternoon tea in York.
• Lesson 3 – Finally, a trio of desserts finish off this York city centre afternoon tea. Indgule in a fairy cake, magicians’ macaroon and Chocolate Frog on a bed of unicorn tears.
