The Potions Cauldron Group makes every effort to ensure that their attractions and retail outlets are accessible for as many visitors as possible.
However due to the location and nature of some of our buildings there maybe some challenges for some visitors with; disabilities, medical and access needs. The Potions Cauldron Group is in line with the Equality Act 2010.

Find Us / Parking
We are located in on Rose Street, just behind Princes Street. Edinburgh operates a 'Blue Badge' parking scheme but there are several car parks with access bays including:

Wheelchair and Mobility Scooters
We are a small shop located on the Rose Street, spaces is very tight however we do welcome wheelchair users, there is street level access to the lower part of the shop. The upper level has 4 small steps. Staff will be happy to help access any stock or products for you.
For the Rose Street Covenstead Experience access is via the rear of our store, please first come to the shop entrance and a team member will escort you to our access entrance. Due to the nature and size of the building only manual or small electronic wheelchairs are accessible.
Carers
Carers are free at the Potions Cauldron Edinburgh for The Rose Street Covenstead Experience, please bring proof with you which can be an carer card or similar, we understand not everyone will have one so letter etc will be considered. Carers that are free are there to support the person/s taking part in the experience.
For the Family (30 minute) experience, carers wishing to take part will need pay an upgrade cost of £2.49 which will include a magical potion.
Toilets
The nearest access toilet is inside Marks and Spencer on Rose Street.

Guide & Assistant Dogs
We welcome all guide and assistance dogs into the venue, should you require a water and bowl please just ask a member of the team.
Autism
We have some autism shopping hour dates in 2024 where we will have few people in the shop, no flashing lights or noises, no music and a calmer atmousphere, these are between 11:00 and 12:00

Should you have any triggers please speak to a member of the team and we will do our best to help in any way we can.
Seating
Our potions experience is fully seated and has an area for a wheelchair also.
Staff Training
We are currently training all staff on Welcome to Excellences’ training course ‘Welcoming All’ this will provide our team with greater tools in welcoming guest with specific and additional needs.
Dementia Friends
Our staff are undertaking training to become Dementia Friends.
